The CU Denver Parent and Family Program recognizes the important role that parents and families play in supporting our students. We strive to support student success through parent and family engagement.
We are committed to forming partnerships and providing resources
for CU Denver parents and families and offer a variety of ways for them to become familiar with current happenings and
campus resources. We want to empower parents and family members to
understand the college experience so they can best support
their student.
Family members and guests will hear from university staff about the ways they can partner with the university to support their student’s transition to college and academic success.
We welcome and strongly encourage family members and guests to attend Family & Guest Orientation to learn about how to get involved at CU Denver.
Reservations for Family & Guest Orientation can be submitted here. Your student will be able to sign up a maximum of two guests on their reservation through the application status web page, when they select their orientation date.
Family & Guest Orientation Modules
The Family & Guest Orientation modules are a great supplement to orientation! If you're unable to attend one of our orientation sessions or would like to revisit information afterwards, the modules are for you. We welcome and strongly encourage family and other members of the student's support team to engage with the orientation process. Our goal is to provide easily accessible information giving you the tools you may need to help your student navigate their new CU Denver home.
